CREEL LODGE, Turangi

Creel Lodge provides garden suites with one or two bedrooms, each featuring a private outdoor balcony. One-bedroom suites include a queen bed, a full kitchen, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, accommodating one or two adults. Two-bedroom suites have a queen bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom, with a bathroom equipped with a shower. Maximum occupancy for the two-bedroom suite is four guests, including children and babies. All suites have a 32-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player, heat pump/air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi. An executive suite offers a king bed, a separate bathroom, full cooking facilities, heat pump/air-conditioning, double-glazing, and a patio. A large garden suite with two-bedrooms includes a queen bed, two single beds, full kitchen, and a patio area.

Creel Cafe is the perfect place to pick up your lunch. The lodge can provide tasty, fast nourishing food for adventure with an appetising vegetable medley infused with honey flavour served with rice noodles, freeze dried lamb and pineapple in a tangy sauce with vegetables, or freeze dried lamb and mint gravy with vegetables and creamy mashed potato. Back Country Cuisine offers freeze-dried meals, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Guests at Creel Lodge have private access to the Tongariro River for fishing and river walks. The Tongariro National Trout Centre is 3 km away. The Tokaanu natural thermal pools are 3 km from the lodge. Guests can see New Zealand's native freshwater fish in Genesis Energy Fresh Water Aquarium.
